Canada-U.S. Passenger Journey Roundtable

This Canada-US multi-stakeholder working session, hosted by Future Borders Coalition on April 12,  will focus on building consistency in the passenger experience. The day's conversations are intended to produce practical recommendations to minimize friction points in passenger screening and border clearance as well as next steps for trusted traveler programs. The event will take the form of a facilitated problem-solving exercise with operational and policy specialists from government and industry in Canada and the United States. Our goal is to break down informational silos, identify areas of potential alignment among modal and bilateral participants, understand areas of necessary differences, and incorporate lessons learned/best practices from other markets. This will be a highly interactive, problem-solving exercise. By the end of the day, we aim to identify concrete action areas for government and industry in order to facilitate a predictable and low-stress passenger experience. Our Ottawa site will permit virtual participation, although we expect robust in-person participation as well. Kindly indicate if you will be attending in-person or virtually in your registration form.
