About the event
The Future Borders Coalition brings together a senior group of government officials and industry leaders to discuss challenges and concrete solutions aimed to achieve a vision that will renew the Canada–U.S. border relationship, promoting safe, secure and efficient border management across the US/Canada borders. This halfday hybrid event is designed to provide an oppportunity to have an inperson/virtual meeting to dicuss strategies and priorities regarding the path towards a safe, gradual, and organized recovery. This event will also serve as an advanced workshop on the draft Future Borders Strategy White Paper. The Furture Borders Strategy aims to deliver a landmark applied research project that will provide a blueprint for forward-looking border policies and processes, including technology adoption within the context of the Northern Border. Through a comprehensive assessment of current border challenges from all modes of transportation, the proposed Whitepaper would serve as a foundational framework to re-imagine and deploy the “Border of the Future”.
