International Symposium on Preclearance for Travel and Trade

Over its 150-year history, border preclearance has supported the dual goals of efficiency and security. However, changes in technology, scope, and demand are driving the need to review the way preclearance for goods, conveyances, people, and baggage. FBC, together with its co-convenors at InterVISTAS, recognize this day and have organized this first-ever conference to guide the future of preclearance in Canada and generate informational exchanges with preclearance sites around the world.

During this one-day conference on March 7, we will explore best practices and next steps, uses of new technologies, developments from traditional models, expansion beyond air mode, and use cases from around the world. We are expecting an audience of approximately 100 industry and government specialists from across the travel and supply chains sectors.
