Mike McNaney

Co-Chair

Mike McNaney was appointed President and CEO of the NACC in the Fall of 2019. Having been in aviation for 20 years, he brings a wealth of experience to the role. While Mike’s career has focused primarily on air carriers, he has an extensive background working with airport authorities, commercial and industry partners, as well as governments and regulators nationally and internationally.


During his career he has been involved in major commercial, operational, and financial public policy and regulatory files impacting aviation, and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences, policy review panels and parliamentary committee hearings. As President and CEO of the NACC, he brings deep sectoral knowledge as he and his team work to shape aviation policy to promote safe, sustainable and competitive air travel.


He previously served as Chair of the NACC Board of Directors, and is a former Board member of the Tourism Industry Association of Canada (TIAC).He has a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Queen’s University, Kingston ON, Canada.
