Canada–U.S. Defense Manufacturing and Technology Executive Roundtable

The Future Borders Coalition convened a high-level, invitation-only executive roundtable in Toronto on April 15, 2026, in collaboration with the U.S. Consulate General, to engage U.S. Ambassador to Canada Pete Hoekstra with senior Canadian and American business leaders in the defense manufacturing and technology sectors. Co-chaired by Dr. Laura Dawson and Ambassador Hoekstra, with guest commentary from Ontario Minister Victor Fedeli and U.S. Consul General Baxter Hunt, the discussion focused on strengthening Canada–U.S. industrial cooperation at a critical moment for North American security.
